Most people enter coaching with momentum but without a map. Something feels off—stress is high, direction is unclear, or responsibilities have piled up in a way that no longer feels aligned with the person they want to be. Before we create change, we pause. We align. That’s the purpose of my Alignment Sessions—a foundational set of coaching conversations that allow us to understand who you are, what season of life you’re in, and what kind of transformation you’re truly seeking.
I’m a coach, not a therapist. My work stays focused on the present -> future, on clarity, on aligned action, and on strengthening your capacity as a leader in your life. We do not diagnose or treat mental health; instead, these sessions help you understand your internal landscape so we can build a coaching plan that actually fits you.

Alignment Sessions are the first four meetings every client experiences. They give us the space to explore your patterns, identity, nervous system, values, and the pressures shaping your life right now. A police officer from Washington DC, a business owner in Haymarket, and an executive in Gainesville all come to coaching with different histories and stress responses. There is no one-size-fits-all approach.
These sessions ensure we never treat them as if they’re the same.
Instead of jumping straight into goals or tactics, we explore what’s beneath the surface: where you feel misaligned, where you’re holding tension, what you’re carrying that isn’t yours anymore, and what you want the next chapter of your leadership and life to look like. Alignment creates clarity. And clarity creates momentum.
These sessions matter because strategy without alignment collapses. When you understand your nervous system patterns, your internal drivers, and the values that actually anchor your life, the coaching journey becomes sustainable. Together, we identify the themes that matter most—boundaries, focus, emotional steadiness, communication, presence, reinvention—and build a coaching plan rooted in who you are at your core, not who you think you “should” be.
By the end of your Alignment Sessions, you leave with a personalized coaching map: the priorities we’ll focus on, the leadership qualities you’re strengthening, the practices that support your growth, and the structure that keeps you moving forward. Nothing is recycled. It’s tailored. Precise. Yours.

Clients often tell me these sessions feel like the first deep breath they’ve taken in years. Before the real work begins, they finally understand themselves again. For individuals in high-pressure roles—athletes, first responders, business leaders, military veterans—the ability to slow down and realign is often the missing piece. This is where self-reflection and grit in leadership begin: with honesty, awareness, and direction.
Although much of my work is rooted in Northern Virginia, I also coach clients remotely across the United States. Many of the individuals I work with—executives, first responders, athletes, veterans, and high achievers—prefer virtual coaching because it offers privacy, flexibility, and the ability to integrate sessions into demanding schedules. Alignment Sessions work seamlessly online, allowing us to explore your patterns, values, and leadership development no matter where you live. Whether you're in Haymarket, Gainesville, Leesburg, or elsewhere in the country, the process remains the same: grounded, personalized, and focused on clarity.
